House ff is dangerous!

Over the last week, I've seriously gotten into House fanfiction and it's VERY addicting! It's more addicting than West Wing, JAG, or even Harry Potter. In case anyone's interested, I'm starting a fanfiction recommendations blog. The first post should happen sometime tomorrow afternoon. It will have House, JAG, West Wing, and Harry Potter fanfiction recommendations. Initially it will just be my recommendations, but the possibility exists that I might accept recommendations from others eventually.

He wants to have "that kind of relationship." GO DANNY! It's about time she got a wake up call. She sees him in the picture eventually, as evidenced by the fact that they end up married. *Shakes head* Silly CJ. Thank goodness I know already that CJ gets her act together.

Yes, you are resisting. This is a reminder as to why I always loved Toby. This conversation would be great fodder to believing the two of them had a "thing" long ago. Aww :) a hug. I bet she's headed to Danny's. He doesnt look exactly pleased, but I cant blame him. Come on CJ! CJ, it's not too late. He's so funny :) I love Danny, always have. He's such a romantic. LOL She's in the oval office now and she's in SHOCK. :) LOL $200,000 for redecorating? Im laughing at Helen's reactions to all of this. Vinnick isnt sure what to make of this meeting. LOL That's about what Matt said. I didnt know this conversation was coming. Nice to see Vinnick figured it out :) Offering him Secretary of State. :) I loved the way Santos pitched that.

And here we go, already tears in my eyes. Josh sitting behind Jed....interesting. Mallory..and then three Bartlett sisters. Interesting that Josh and CJ are sitting near each other. Amy, Danny. Josh and Donna not really sitting together. Ainsley's there. Impressive guest list. Church is packed, no surprise. There's Mallory again. As my dad just said...AINT NO WAY. No way Jed is a pallbearer, Leo or not. Charlie, Jed, Matt, Josh, and two I didnt recognize as pallbearers. Okay, so I just got teary eyed, but didnt cry.

So I just read some spoilers for the rest of the series, and I found out who Santos is picking as his VP, and I gotta tell you, he's one of the last people on earth I'd pick. No way would I pick Baker as VP. Not in a million years.

On another note, tonight's ep is so going to make me cry. But I have a feeling that it will still end up one of my favorites.

Tonight's Cub Game

Im ready for it to start already. The sooner it starts, the sooner the kid leaves the game, and the sooner I can watch tonight's ep of West Wing. Dont get me wrong, I really want to watch the game...it's just that everything seems to be happening in tonight's episode. LOL I'm going to have to keep from checking my email until after I watch the ep. There will be so many commentaries and fics after tonight's ep. Just knowing about the two things that happen (the election and Leo) leaves a LOT of room for post-eps, and just seeing the ep will leave more for people to write about (and for me to read about *grins*) It's nice that we have tivo, because I can tivo West Wing (which we were already doing for someone in my dad's office), and watch the Cub game. Under normal circumstances (i.e. were this any other West Wing ep) I'd watch all of the Cub game tonight and be fine with watching the WW ep tomorrow. However, this isnt any old WW ep, so Im going to watch it as soon as Marshall's out of the game. I can always keep tabs on the game from that point from my computer. I just have to hope that Marshall doesnt go anymore than 2 and a half hours. I dont think he will, but *shrugs* Anymore than that, and I'll have problems getting up in the morning for class and then work. It's a good thing I wont be watching tonight's ep with my dad...goodness knows Im going to need a box and a half of kleenex tonight. Okay! Im off to find a tv to watch the Cubs game :) I'll be back later with my commentary from the episode. Like I said earlier in the week, I'll still be doing the times thing, I'll just post the time I started watching first :)

Regarding the West Wing ep on 4/9

My cubbies play while West Wing is on, so I'll be watching my cubbies. Don't freak though, because we tivo West Wing for someone in my dad's office. That means, however, that my commentary will be later on in the evening, and the times will be off. I'll be sure to note the time I start watching it so that someone reading it could figure out at which point in the ep Im talking about.

The Cubs game has me interested because there's a rookie pitcher for the Cubs making his major league debut, against the Cardinals no less. I'll probably only watch until the kid comes out of the game, and then I'll come down and watch the ep. I have decided, however, that if the kid comes out of the game before the ep is over, I'll wait until the ep is over, and then come downstairs. I want to watch the episode all at once, from start to finish, rather than coming down in the middle.

Here we go! I like thus far...Lou has really grown on me. Hm....a friend of mine just says she thinks Josh and Donna - drunken sex. I agree. I like Lou. Ooo Dropping like flies...leaving Josh and Donna alone. I like the way Donna looks now, rather than at the beginning of the season. AWWWW! I wanted them to go up to Josh's room :-P Well, I know they will eventually because of last week's previews. Alright, so far so good.

I suppose this is our penance for seeing so much of Santos lately. Nice to see Josh is taking Toby's advice...except not mentioning Toby...well kinda mentioning Toby. I love Santos, and Josh too. That reminds me, I didn't know that Bradley Whitford was in Billy Madison. And there we go, the two campaigns see each other across the hallway. Interesting strategy by Vinnick...too bad it won't work. I dont want them going to his home state...I want Santos there all by his lonesome. Hmm...what's in the briefcase? I guess I know what was in the briefcase. Looks like they cant find it...that means BRUNO has it! And Bruno, being the ass he is, is going to use what's in it.

I have to wonder what facillitated that. I'm so tired of the Vinnick campaign. There's Bruno....looking rather, shall we say, grim. Here's where Bruno is going to tell Vinnick what is in it. I just want to smack Vinnick and Bruno. GRRRR I hate him. Someone asked me last week if Bruno was this much of a creep the last time we saw him. I said that no, he was just as much a creep, but we just hadnt seen him in awhile. After tonight, I have to say that he is more of a creep this time around.

I like this whole thing between Josh and Toby. Lol., that campaign lady is wound too tight. Dang it! That strategy actually worked. You know, I have to say, that I've missed the interesting conversation between Toby and Josh...not the angry stuff of this season, but the stuff of tonight, and in early times.

Haffley is an idiot. I've hated him for quite awhile now. Vinnick is going to tell Santos. Now Josh talking to Bruno. He's gonna give back the briefcase, and tell Santos that he knows what's in it. Bruno respect the voters? You've gotta be kidding me. Lou's on the phone...again. Wonder is Santos will show up. There we go :-P You know, I dont think the candidates have spoken face to face since they decided to have the debate. Interesting, interesting, interesting. I like Santos - as if you didnt already know that.

Boredom, boredom, boredom...

So it's 9:23 PM on a Saturday night. I'm at home (and okay with that), but at the same time bored. There are a few different things I could be doing...getting ready for Primary tomorrow, studying for my midterm next week, read a novel....except that I dont feel like doing any of those things. I'd like to find a wonderful fan fiction to get lost in, but I haven't found one in a little while now. The last one I really got lost in for a LONG time were Abraxan's stories. I've recced them here before, so go check them out. Don't let the length scare you; they're amazing. I spent an entire weekend reading almost non-stop, and then some time through the week before I finished them. Simply amazing!

But now I'm back to being bored and dont know what to do about it. I could go to bed, except that, in being nice to my mom, I volunteered to stay up until my little brother gets home from wherever he is (two hours from now)

Tomorrow afternoon should be nice. My cousin and her husband are coming down to get the rolltop desk we're giving them (we dont use it anymore), and my mom promised to feed them before they made the two hour trek back home. I saw Candi (and no, she's not flaky like the name might imply--she graduated Valedictorian from her H.S.) when she came down for my brother's Eagle Scout ceremony in January, but Brandon had to work. If I remember correctly, they weren't at the family Christmas party either--they were at Brandon's family's house, I think. So it's been awhile since I've seen Brandon.

On Thursday night I rented Walk the Line. Haven't watched it yet, but it's not due back until Tuesday before 10PM. I may sit and watch it before Candi and Brandon arrive tomorrow. Of course, at 7PM tomorrow I'll be watching The West Wing. It's rather depressing to realize that counting tomorrow, there are only 8 Sundays of new West Wing left. As I was looking through the West Wing stuff on tvguide's website, I realized that the first time the show makes me cry will be April 2nd when Annabeth finds Leo. Though, on a better note, I am so totally looking forward to seeing Rob Lowe in the final two episodes. I really hoped he would come back for the end. I've missed him. For those of you that saw the previews at the end of last week's episode will notice that we got a HUGE clue as to who wins the election. When we saw Sam, he's saying "I'm here for the President." First off, he's not saying it to Vinnick. Plus, the area around him doesn't look anything like the area in the White House. It does, however, look like the current Santos for President headquarters in Washington, D.C. :-P Of course, a friend of mine who gets spoilers regularly for the show already told me that yes, Santos wins the election. For anyone that I just ruined it for, I'm sorry, but did you really think Vinnick was going to win? Especially since they can let the show end with one Democractic president replacing another Democrat?

Aright, so it's time for me to go find something to do....wish me luck!

Kate and Will are so funny! The post-eps tomorrow are going to be great :) Bruno's such an interesting character. I like Jed Bartlet. As I watch this episode, I'm reminded just how much I'm going to miss this show come May. CJ looks really old.

So back in the Roosevelt room...interesting. The not so covert looks between Josh and Donna make me giggle. Interesting conversation between Leo and Jed in the Oval Office. Nice little speech by Leo. Here we go...candidates and the President in a room together. Interesting perspective there, looking at the scene from above. This is an interesting conversation here... Vinnick looks out of it in this scene. OOOO I always liked her...from way back when she was on Home Improvement. Interesting group here....OOOOOOOOOO I wish she hadnt taken Donna's key. I so totally want the two of them to get together.
