I want snow, dang it!

I want snow dang it! The areas south and east of here are getting nailed, but no, not us. The area I live in never seems to get nailed anymore. The last time we got any good sized snowstorms was Dec 2000. I think it's time to get more snow. However, that doesn't appear to be happening this go round.

Not such a great thanksgiving

Okay, first off, Thanksgiving should be family event. Which means that you should be spending it with family, not going off to your girlfriend's house (unless that girlfriend is/or is about to become your fiancee). Of course, when you're 17, that condition doesn't exist. Excuse me for thinking that Thanksgiving should be for family, and you should do things as a family, whatever those things might be. But no, the only thing we did together today was dinner, and even that was subdued as my other brother didn't come home from college for Thanksgiving. Seriously, doing things with the family should be priority number one. End of discussion.

Second, my mother put the fudge out in the garage on my dad's truck to get it out of the way while she was cooking. However, she didn't tell anyone she was putting it out there, so when my brother took the truck and went to his girlfriend's house, the fudge (and the glass pan it was in) ended up in pieces in the cul-de-sac. GRRRRRRRR

It's time to figure out where these wasps are coming from!

We've had four wasps in the house in three weeks now. It's time to figure out where they're coming from and get rid of them before winter really comes. My brother has been drafted to walk around the outside of the house tomorrow after school to see if they're congregating anywhere. We have a nest outside the house that probably goes into the attic, but we're only finding them on the first floor, not the second floor. GRRRRR
