I realized I never updated just how much snow we ended up with after my last post. From Friday night about 6PM to Sunday about 6PM, we ended up with about 17 inches of snow. By the time the storm finally moved completely out late Monday, we had 20 inches of new snow on the ground. Late the following week, we had some issues with freezing rain and rain and a little snow, but nothing serious. Starting this weekend it's going to warm up enough to really do away with this snow. We're talking mid 50's by next Monday and Tuesday!
In other news, the Big 10 Tourney starts tomorrow, with my Badgers playing on Friday night. I'm hoping Michigan State lays an egg tomorrow, but it's not likely - and that means my Badgers will get a third crack at Michigan State. It occurred to me yesterday that to win a national championship at the college level, or even in the pros for that matter, you don't have to be the most talented team. You just have to want it the most. Now, I don't know if my Badgers want it the most, but they do want it a lot. We'll just have to see if that's enough.

For post #100 (and I didn't realize it would be 100 til I logged in and got ready to post), I thought I'd talk about the weather...we're under a BLIZZARD warning for tonight starting at 6PM through noon tomorrow. Aside from the 8 inches of snow we got last night (up from the 2-3 inches they were predicting at 6PM yesterday), we're due for another 7-14 inches overnight tonight along with nasty winds. During the 6PM news yesterday, the local stations were all saying 1-5 inches of snow overnight last night, with just 1-2 in the city, with more the further north you got from the city. About 9:45 the National Weather service changed the area snow advisory for the evening to a winter storm WARNING for the evening (along with the snow prediction going from 1-5 to 6-9!), with our winter storm watch for tonight still in effect. Woke up this morning to 8 new inches of snow on the ground and a blizzard warning for tonight and tomorrow morning. Last night's snow was the fluffy stuff, so it's blowing everywhere. Supposedly tonight's snow is going to be heavy and wet and thus won't blow everywhere...however I'm not so sure. Last night was supposed to heavy and wet and well, it wasn't. As late as Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning, this was all going to be rain....yeah, not going to happen.

I want snow, dang it!
I want snow dang it! The areas south and east of here are getting nailed, but no, not us. The area I live in never seems to get nailed anymore. The last time we got any good sized snowstorms was Dec 2000. I think it's time to get more snow. However, that doesn't appear to be happening this go round.

Waiting for American Idol
And here I thought American Idol was on at 7........guess not. Since I've moved out of my bedroom, computer and all and into the parents room where there's a tv, I'll stay here til 8:30 when AI is over. Im guessing the either Bucky, Melissa, Kevin, or Elliot are leaving tonight. I think Chris, Paris, Mandisa, and Lisa are safe.
Alright, so it's going to snow tomorrow. On March 15th, it's gonna snow. I am so tired of snow, let alone large amounts of the stuff. We're under a winter storm warning that will go in effect at 6AM tomorrow and last through 9PM tomorrow night. 5-10 inches with 20 mph winds. Now while I can handle that around my dinky little town, I work in downtown Madison, and the city of Madison SUCKS at clearing their streets. Driving to work should be pretty easy. Driving home around 12:30 (it's Spring Break, I'm only working 4 hours/day) though should be interesting.
*Sigh* classes start again on Monday. I can't believe I'm almost done with my junior year in college. That being said, there's no way I graduate in four years. It's just not going to happen. I like my major, I just don't know what Im going to do with it when I graduate. Law school or grad school would be good options, but I dont have the drive to do them now. If I were to do either of them, I wouldnt get anything out of them, or at least not enough to make it worth my while. *shrugs*
