I wish my family understood me
You know, I wish my family understood me, and the things that make me who I am. I can't decide if that makes me sad or angry. Maybe a little of both. They just don't "get" me, and no matter how many times I may try to explain something about me, they simply can't connect the dots. Since I badly want them to "connect the dots," that's really frustrating for me. It's frustrating to realize that my family may never understand me. I suppose that makes it all the more important for me to find a husband one day that does truly understand me. He's going to really have to "get" me, because I don't think I could deal with a husband that didn't, on top of my family.

Tonight's episode of Studio 60
Im not going to blog tonight's episode as it happens, but we are tivo-ing it (for my dad, who won't be home in time to catch the beginning), so I'll blog it later. Tonight I just want to enjoy it :-P

Yesterday's Cub game
Im not sure if I mentioned it before, but we had great seats to yesterday's Cubs-Reds game at Wrigley Field. We were on the first base side, on the home plate side of the dugout, and in the third row from the field. We were literally next to the visitor's dugout. Even though they lost, it was fantastic to be that close. If you look at my next post, you'll see links to some facebook photo albums. The photos from yesterday are up there.

More doggie pics
Err...Im bored
I'm really really bored. Im sitting on my parents' bed watching my cubbies, and if you can believe it, they're winning! On Friday, we're going in to see a game. We have fantastic seats, and thus will have fantastic pics that I will post sometime over the weekend. In choir today we started an interesting piece of music. With our concerts being over the holidays, our music is mostly Christmas in nature. We started a carol today that will be really pretty, but MAN! It's really going to move when we actually sing it as fast as it's supposed to go.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
I will be blogging Studio 60 like I did the end of West Wing. It was fun to do, and I've decided to do it again. The first episode airs September 18th at 9 CT, and I'm very much looking forward to it :) It'll be nice to see Bradley Whitford again. I have seen the episode already, and it's fantastic, but I'm also going to blog it as it airs :)

Classes start tomorrow
Classes start tomorrow, and I can already tell you my wrists are going to be screaming by day's end. I've tried to do relatively little with my wrists today, but *shrugs* even holding them in the wrong position can set them off. So classes start tomorrow, and I've got to bed in bed in two hours *yippe* grrr...

Gah
First off, I hate carpal tunnel. It's annoying and is driving me crazy. I guess I should consider myself lucky it's not worse. However, since I do a LOT of typing for school, and cant seem to keep my hands uncurled when I sleep, it might end up worse before it gets better.
Second, Im watching Just My Luck, and I forgot just how dorky this movie is. Of course, Im really watching it for Chris Pine. He's really cute :)
Third, my counselor strongly suspects I'm ADHD. At first (probably like you are), I was like," What? No, Im not hyperactive and bouncing off the walls." Then she qualified it and said that it was the inattentive type, and when she started describing it, and asked me to see how many of the symptoms fit my life, more than enough did. It would definitely explain many of the problems I see in my life, particularly where school's concerned. To give you an idea of what it's like, at least for me....it's like knowing I have a task to complete, wanting to complete it, and believing that I know how to complete it, only to try and start it and realize I can't do it, and then not being able to remember why you can't do it. It's frustrating, to say the least. So I have a medication consult in a few weeks with a therapist with an M.D. (my counselor is a Ph.D. and thus can't prescribe medication). So we'll see...
